Project Timeline
We have set out the following path to achieve our project goals:
In this two year timeline, four User Commission meetings (UC) have been scheduled with a six month's interval. Through these meetings, the project consortium tries to match the project outcome as much as possible to the needs and insights of the professional specialists.
The first work package "Tech Spec" tries to identify the specific needs of the prototype that will be used in the test cases. The original specification can be altered at all times due to technical limitations or new insights gathered by experimenting with this novel technology.
The second work package "Concept" will deliver a "Proof of Concept" device, this device will be used to perform preliminary healthy subject tests. Shortcomings of the used technology can therefore be identified in an early stage, so proper solutions to improve possible deficiencies can be implemented.
The third work package "Subj Test" or "Healthy Subject Tests" will deliver preliminary data and possible improvement tips for the actual prototype. The generated data can be used to test the digital platform.
Work package number four, "Digital Platform", describes, on the one hand, the development of a central cloud solution where data from rehabilitation or trainings can be analysed and feedback about the performance can be provided from and to the user and (medical) coach. On the other hand, this work package reserves the resources to develop a mobile application that provides immediate feedback to the user and transmits the data to the cloud storage whenever a data connection is available.
The fifth work package combines the outcome of the former work packages into a functional prototype.
The resulting prototype will then be used as a demonstrator in the last work package (WP6). In this final work package, the two described test cases - the monitoring of rehabilitation and sports performances - will be implemented.
